Note about Oil Paintings: Unlike many modern-day paintings, these
works are done on canvas or panels prepared by the artist. Many of the
paintings are done over the period of several weeks using thin transparent
layers of paint over an "underpainting", thus allowing a deep
inner luminosity and the capturing of subtle detail. This method of painting
was widely practiced in the Renaissance.

Idea submitted by Ms. Joanne O. New Hampshire This champion Agility dog was found as a dying puppy and was rescued from a pet store by Ms. O. and Sheltie Rescue of New Hampshire. The tiles were donated by venetian Cat Studio to help raise money for Sheltie Rescue.
